Coworking is Not Just for Hipsters (part 10,002)

Set aside all the stereotypes you’ve heard about coworking - that it’s just a big open space full of tech bros in skinny jeans, spinning around in futuristic saucer chairs, sipping espressos, and talking about their latest app/algo/crypto gains. Or that it’s full of people trying to outdo each other with their big plans, but never accomplishing anything.

Instead, imagine a space full of hardworking, thoughtful, NORMAL people. People with normal jobs, families, and pets, who drive Toyotas and eat PB&J for lunch because they were too tired to go to the store after taking the kids to soccer practice the night before.

Coworking is not some buzzy trend you need to get in on or be left out. Coworking is an umbrella term that covers quite a few things. It encompasses flex space, virtual offices, mailbox and mail forwarding services, conference room rental, and meeting space.

Businesses of all sizes avail themselves of our services, from Fortune 1 (although around here that’s shooting fish in a barrel!) to Walmart’s suppliers and vendors, small businesses on the periphery, and LLCs that have nothing to do with Walmart. Yes, we do have a couple of “startups” in the house, but we also have some local teams that belong to international corporations. There are remote employees who work far from their companies, and employees of local companies who prefer to work in a different setting.

So if you’re thinking that coworking is some vibe that’s unattainable and only for the cool ones, we hope this post has changed your mind, even a little bit.

If you’re curious about how coworking and flex space might fit into your business plan, or if it might work for your own remote work plan, come see us. We’d love to show you around and let you try out an office for a day.
